Ms. Fawzia Karim Firoze is one of the leading names in the legal professional arena and has been practicing as an Advocate in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh for more than two decades now. Advocate Feroza Pervin has built a career in the legal fraternity spanning over a decade now. Barrister Quazi Maruful Alam was called to the Bar of England and Wales from Lincoln’s Inn in the year of 2012. After the completion of his academic education in England Mr. Alam returned back to his home, and started pursuing his career in Bangladesh. Since 2017, Mr. Alam has been practicing as an Advocate in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. At a very young age Mr. Alam has acquired the title of a thriving Barrister in the legal fraternity with his extraordinary and brilliant tactics of resolving and handling cases from all fields of the legal world. Apart from Civil, Criminal and Family Law Mr. Alam also has expertise in dealing with Corporate and Banking Law and is currently enlisted as a Panel Lawyer for IDLC and One Bank. Simultaneously, Mr. Alam acknowledges the growing needs of educating the next generation leaders, and teaches as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Law of State University of Bangladesh. Mr. Alam has also been playing an active role in promoting ‘Gender equality’ and wishes to establish himself as an ‘Human Rights Defender’ defending economic, cultural and social injustice everywhere. Advocate Sarkar Mecail Goni has been a practising lawyer since the year 2005. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Goni had been serving as the Legal Head at the Sena Kalyan Sangstha an organization of the Bangladesh Army for a period of almost 14years. His main areas of expertise include dealing with all types of Taxation matters (VAT), Custom Issues and Labour Law. Mr. Goni has obtained his LLB & LLM degree from South East University of Bangladesh. His punctuality coupled with his systematic and rational decision-making skills, empower him to confidently guide his clients in matters related to his legal expertise. Mr. Goni frequently counsels clients in handling tax issues such as Vat and other Custom issues along with proper due diligence in connection with major acquisitive transactions related but not just limited to tax issues.
Ms. Faiza Mehreen has been an integral part of the firm since the very beginning. Ms. Mehreen completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from Bangor University, UK. Pursued and completed LLM in Bar Professional Training Course (Post Graduation) from City, University of London, UK. Ms. Mehreen has gained a wealth of knowledge in Drafting, Client Correspondence, as well as Legal Research. Her keen attention to detail enables her to play a vital role in assisting her seniors in litigations and mediations. Ms. Mehreen being a ‘millennial’ and a part of the ‘next-generation leaders’, thoroughly understand the need to find and develop efficacious and intellectually stimulating methods to disseminate information through all the various media channels available today. Her being a tech savvy ensures that the firm runs smoothly and in an extremely systematic way and is also accessible to everyone across the globe. Ms. Maisha Binte Hossain joined our firm as a Junior Associate. Ms. Hossain’s accuracy and thoroughness in conducting legal research is commendable. She is currently responsible in assisting the firm with her research skills in developing insightful, up-to-date and scrupulous synthesis of information related to our practise. Her fluency and strong command over both English and Bengali language enables her to help assist in preparing variety of documentations as and when required.
Ms. Hossain completed her Bachelor of Laws from State University of Bangladesh and Masters of Laws from Bangladesh University of Professionals. Ms. Hossain also always had a keen interest in participating on Moot Competitions organized both on Domestic as well as on international platforms.
Mr. Md. Fazlur Rahman graduated from the State University of Bangladesh in 2021 and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree from the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). Mr. Rahman is extremely hard-working and is responsible for maintaining an adequate filing system for the firm.
Mr. Rahman has a proficiency of the legal Bangla Language and occasionally helps the firm with documentation and various research.
Ms. Suraiya Kamol completed her Bachelor of Laws from Brac University, Dhaka in the year of 2020, she then completed her Master of Laws from Bangladesh University of Professional (BUP). Ms. Kamol has participated in the Student Research Fellowship with Bondhu Social Welfare Society (2020), actively took part Certificate course on Refugee Laws and International Protection of Refugees and other Persons of Concerns by UNHCR (2020). Ms. Kamol is a law enthusiast with a passion for Human Rights Law and is thriving to promote and protect human rights in a peaceful and effective manner.
