Ms. Suraiya Kamol completed her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from BRAC University in 2020 and subsequently obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in 2022. She was awarded a Student Research Fellowship (2020) by Bandhu Social Welfare Society, through which she co-authored and published a research paper titled “Ensuring Human Rights for the Gender Diverse Population in Bangladesh: The Protection Perspectives” in the Beijing Law Review (2021).
Ms. Kamol has also completed a Certificate Course on Refugee Laws and International Protection of Refugees and Other Persons of Concern organized by UNHCR (2020) and a Certificate Training Program on Environment and Environmental Law by Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (BELA) in 2024.
A dedicated and detail-oriented lawyer, Ms. Kamol has been actively involved in litigation drafting, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and legal research. She currently assists in managing the firm’s case lists, court schedules, and client communications with diligence and professionalism. She also supports senior associates by conducting in-depth legal research, drafting pleadings and briefs, and preparing case documentation. Her key interests lie in human rights, environmental protection, and public interest law, and she remains committed to promoting justice and equality through her legal practice.
